Rabbit sales policy

Please read this whole thing carefully.

Here at Cherry Blossom Farms, I raise pedigreed Holland lops and Netherland dwarfs. I am striving to produce very correct yet colorful rabbits. By doing so, I will have rabbits frequenting and leaving my programs, so I make sure I have only the best quality here. Babies posted will be able to go to their new homes when they reach 10 weeks, unless they need to be kept back for any health issues or any other reasons that I see fit. Deposits may be placed on the bunnies when they are 6 weeks old, so I can guarantee the most correct sexing. I will have the first pick of every litter born here unless stated otherwise in the posts. By initiating a sale with Cherry Blossoms Rabbitry, you are automatically assumed to have read this policy, which makes it a binding contract. I am not in charge of making sure you have read it. That is your job as the customer. Anything you do outside of this contract that faults you is grounds for dismissal, and you will never be allowed to buy from us again, as well as grounds for us to take you to court over the matter. I am very stern about my policy to avoid negligent buyers and flippers; I want only the best homes for my animals.

**Holding fee**

I require a holding fee of 50% of the full price to hold a rabbit, but you can pay in full if you wish! If you cannot afford the 50% deposit, or want to put a deposit down but also want to make sure you have available transport to get the animal, I will be willing to hold for 2 days without a deposit. If you are serious about getting the rabbit, I will be willing to negotiate the deposit amount, but the full amount will remain unchanged and be due upon pickup or drop-off with the transporter. I accept payment through Venmo, Apple Pay, Cash App, and Zelle. The holding fee is NON-refundable, so if you back out for any reason, you will not receive a refund of the deposit.

If your rabbit(s) die in my care (bunnies are fragile and can die suddenly for many reasons), it will then be transferred to another kit of your choice (which may be months down the road, depending on what our availability is and what fits in with what you want), or I can offer you a full refund for the rabbit. I cannot refund for any transport at this time. So you will have to go to the transporter if you seek a refund for transport. All sales are final, and we have the right to refuse any sale for any reason.

You have 1 week after I tell you your bunny is ready to pick up or plan a date to pick up. I will hold the rabbit as long as necessary, but I will require a $10 a week holding fee. If you fail to contact me in that timeframe then you forfeit the rabbit, If we arrange to meet a certain day and you fail to meet, then i will keep the rabbit and deposit and put you on the “do not sell to” list, I also will not sell to people who have had a history of neglect or negligence when it comes to rabbits, that is my choice and my mind will not be changed unless I see real improvement of said person the next year. My rabbits are all raised with as much care, love, and attention that I, as one person can physically give. I refuse to have my time wasted or potentially stress the rabbit out for any reason, including removing them from their home and comfort space, so they have to repeat that process.

**Meeting**

Please bring a crate or a carrier. If you don’t have one, I will provide a cardboard animal transport box, but I must know in advance so I can bring it with me. Each rabbit will come with a Ziploc bag of pellets, hay (if you are not feeding the same kind), and treats(if available). If you wish to switch to another feed, you must transition properly; otherwise, you risk bloat or GI issues, which can be deadly. Transfer your rabbit slowly over an 8-10 day period; supply lots of hay and water during this time, and use fewer pellets to be safe, so the rabbit does not consume too many at once, which could cause issues.

Can’t take care of your rabbit anymore?

If you, for any reason, have to rehome your rabbit/ can’t take care of it anymore. I should expect a message offering the sale first, with the right to refuse it. I will take back the rabbit or will help you rehome them. I love each and every rabbit that comes and leaves my home and would love to have it back if it means their safety and well-being. You will NOT be judged. We understand things happen, and the future is always changing.

Disclaimer

It is the Buyer/adopter’s responsibility to inspect the rabbit at the time of pickup! If you suddenly no longer want it, that is fine, but as always, the holding fee will be retained, and I will relist it for sale. All rabbits are healthy to the best of my knowledge when they leave my care. I do not know how the rabbits are housed, what they are fed, how they are handled, or what happens after they leave my property. I am not responsible for any illnesses or even death that may result at ANY time after the rabbit is out of my care. I do not give refunds for illnesses or death after the rabbit leaves the rabbitry! All of my rabbits are healthy, to my knowledge, which is why it is your job to check them over thoroughly when you get them. It is always a safe practice to also quarantine the rabbit away from your main herd. Illnesses and diseases DO happen; that is something inexplicably unavoidable in the real world. If the rabbit IS sick when they leave my care, I will do what I can to help get them better. We do sex the rabbit(s) multiple times before, but mistakes do sometimes happen. Sexing juvenile rabbits can be quite tricky. You are responsible for checking when we meet. We will not issue a refund for a misidentified rabbit after you have returned home.

By purchasing a bunny from us, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms.

Thank you for buying a sweet bun from cherry blossoms! You are greatly appreciated 🤍
