Holland lops, everyone’s favorite lop-eared bunny
Holland lops were first recognized in 1979. They are currently the world’s smallest lop-eared breed, weighing 2 to 4 pounds, with a maximum weight of 4 pounds. They are easily the most well-known rabbit breed due to their distinct, round, and compact features. Holland lops (if bred correctly) are very docile, affectionate, and calm by nature, making them a lovely addition to most homes. They have been known to be a lazier breed, which complements their docile demeanor wonderfully! That is the main thing we strive for, is level-headed and docile temperament, rabbits that match the breed standard
Fun fact: Holland lops were originally created by breeding French lops and Netherland dwarfs!
